Bitcoin Historical Lows Database

Complete record of Bitcoin's major market lows (2010–2025). This list currently includes 11 verified lows. Each milestone represents a significant market correction with exact dates, prices, and historical context.

Selection Criteria & Standards

Minimum Standards

  • 35% Pullback: Each low represents at least a ~35% decline from the previous major high
  • Historical Significance: Matched to documented market events around the same period
  • TradingView Verified: Prices from BTC/USD All Time History Index
  • Multi-Exchange Confirmation: Cross-referenced with contemporary exchange data

Data Quality

  • Date Precision: Exact dates when price levels occurred
  • Price Accuracy: Full decimal precision (especially for early prices)
  • Context Documentation: Contemporary news sources and market analysis
  • Chronological Order: Organized by date for algorithm processing

Note: Two legacy lows (~32–33% pullbacks) are grandfathered from the early dataset due to historical significance.

Event Timing: Dates reflect when the low price printed, which may occur during, just before, or after the associated news. Markets often move ahead of headlines.
